It recently came out that I have a 1-year-old daughter. I was not trying to keep it a secret. If someone asked, I would talk about it but no one ever really brought it up. I don’t mind sharing a little bit but I like to keep my private life private for the most part. My daughter’s name is Neesyn Dacey but everyone calls her Dacey. Her mom chose Neesyn and I chose Dacey after she w...

I was DQ’d in Zagreb because my boots were 0.2 millimeters too tall. The boot technicians didn’t grind down the boot bed all the way in the heel. When the inspectors came by, I tried taking my boots apart and putting them back together to get them to pass. You only have three tries at it. I couldn’t get my foot back in the boot after I took it off because it was cold and they nee...

I want to address this whole bib draw controversy. I missed the bib draw in Bormio because I was being treated for an injury to my wrist. I needed to get the work done and it was the only time the doctor could see me so I decided to get the work done instead of going. As a result, they made me run 46th instead of 15th. They are saying I purposely missed the bib draw so I could start late to gain a...

I’m sitting at the airport in Denver on my way to Val d’Isere. I fly through London, then arrive in France at 2:30 a.m. I have some time to kill so I’ll probably just read or listen to music. I sleep fine on the plane so I’ll be out soon. Looking back at the weekend, I had a really hard crash on the Birds of Prey course on Friday. It was pretty rough. I was going for it at ...

INNSBRUCK, Austria -- This summer was awesome. It was kind of the normal routine; I was pretty much just hanging around New Hampshire and then I went to New Zealand to train and started to get in shape. The last two months have been nothing but brutal training and workouts. Then we came over here to Europe, and the skiing has been going good. Last year my motivation was to try to put together ...

Despite the strong finishes, it was a little bit of an up and down weekend. The super combined was a pretty strange race. I really killed the last training run coming into the downhill portion and I was looking to ski very aggressively in the downhill and hang on in the slalom. The downhill was pretty tough. I went and skied pretty poorly, making a big mistake and I almost wound up in the fence. I...

Hey Everyone, Thanks for sticking with us, all kinds of updates are coming to SkiSpace later this month. I’ll update you once there up. Our team is really clicking and everything is sorting out right now. Today was a fun race! It was nothing like the training run, so I just charged and didn’t let up on the brakes at all! I’m fired up for the next month! Team America is firing on all cylinder...
