East coast kid(Roundtop, Liberty, Bryce, Snowshoe, Elk, Seven Springs, Hunter, Stowe, Sugarbush, Sugarloaf) who learned on ice...skipped alot of school to chase snow and earned the nickname DNF before it was cool. Yep..I was blowing out of Nastar courses when Billy Kidd had hair...cha... After chasing points and racing at the college level, I did one year of bumming in Vail, only to realize i couldnt afford CO..so I decided to grow up..make the dough so I could retire as high as my money could get me. After college I instructed at a little hill called Bryce(yup..the land of Horst Locher) where the only thing to do was run gates. I coached J1-J4 and college teams including UVA, while doing some pacesetting and course setting. Drilled alot of holes, set alot of gates and have messed my back up...even had to quit skiing for several years because of injury. After back surgery last summer..Im back on track to chase some masters points...build on my old school skills and try as many of the new skis out there as i can... Maybe Mt Hood this summer... and Ive skiied Bariloche twice for those that know ... ...update...i finished a couple of downhills, a sg, and a slalom...then biffed a super g in aspen...no more speed events this year thank you.. mt hood this summer..fuxi will have two shops...
