About Us

Bode Miller, founder of his independent race team Team America, has 31 World Cup wins, the most in US alpine ski racing history. At 31 years old, Miller is the seventh winningest World Cup racer in the history of the sport. Bode won the Overall World Cup title in the 2007-08 season (his second overall globe), along with the Super Combined title (his fourth discipline globe). Bode also owns four World Championships and two Olympic Silver medals. After 11-year tenure with the US Ski Team, Miller made the decision in May 2007 to ski independently.

"We co-existed and had a lot of success for the past ten years and I value the relationships I made with my teammates and the staff," stated Miller, "but when they told me I’d have to pay my own way to remain on the team this season I decided that if I am going to pay my own way, I might as well do it on my own terms. The US Ski Teams program is set up to assist 30 to 40 alpine racers each season. With Team America I will be able to solely focus on maximizing my training and race day performance, which has me super excited to get on the hill."
